A Weekend of Parades

We started the Christmas Season on such a fun note. We started at the Parade of Lights. in downtown Garland. The kids were so excites to see the parade and the tree lighting.
Here are the kids just before the parade started.
Some of the cute parade floats. Including Santa of course.
The lighting of the tree!!!!
Then on Saturday we got up early and went to Dallas to watch the Neiman Marcus Parade. Here is Angelina watching as one band marches by. Charity tried to stay warm as the wond blew and she cuddled Bitty Baby. Gage enjoyed our perch above the crowd. He loved all the balloons. The floats were great!
One of the marching bands. This one was from Rockwall Heath High.
The girsl found some of the clowns as we were heading to see the Neiman Marcus window.
And of course...SANTA!!!
We took pictures in front of the giant tree in downtown Dallas.
After the parade was over we went to see the Neiman Marcus window. Then we had lunch in the West End. We rode the Dart Rail to downtown and then all the way to the end of the line and back so we could have lunch. The kids thought that was cool.
All in all it was a great weekend.
We hope you have a great Christmas Season!!!
