So, I hang my head in shame and give a synopsis of my children's year. LOL
Angelina's Junior year has been uneventful. Which is good. I like uneventful. She had a fun homecoming week. Her mum was awesome! It even lit up!
Needless to say, she loved it! She also passed her driving test and is now a licensed driver. Talk about SCARY! But, she has done very well in her classes. Honor roll each grading period, kept her GPA up, and is looking into a few different colleges. She took her SATs on May 4th, and now we are just waiting for her scores. Fingers crossed.
Gage started high school this year and was in the Lakeview Centennial Patriot Marching Band. Tuba of course. Lots of marching competitions and lots of time at the stadiums for Daddy and Mommy. He was awesome out there. He has struggled adjusting to high school classes and such, but we are hoping next year will be better. He auditioned today for his position in next years band and we have high hopes.
Charity, ah Charity. Our perpetual body in motion. Always has to be part of something extra. She was in choir this year and did great! Her voice has really become strong. She auditioned for and won a part in her school musical production of Annie. She played Pepper. Quite perfect for her. Bossy at times, but always looking out for others. She will be moving on to high school next year, and for the first time in about 6 years, all of our kids will be at the same school again! Wow! She tried out for and made the Lakeview Centennial Liberty Dolls drill team. She also auditioned for the Dance magnet and made it. She is also going to be in the collegiate academy working towards her Associates degree while she is in high school. A bit of an over achiever you might say.
This year has been very busy, but next year does not show any signs of slowing down. Since it will be Angelina's Senior year there will be plenty of senior events, college nights, applications, tests, and celebrations. And since Charity will be on JV drill and Gage will be in Marching band, we will get to attend every single football game, JV and Varsity. Aren't we lucky?
We look forward to fun this summer and beyond. And then there will be all the fun and growing experiences of next school year. I'd like to say I'll do better at blogging, but I don't want to make myself a liar. LOL
