Our family has really been blessed since fall came around. Kids all went back to school without complaint, probably because they were bored at home, but still.....Charity started choir this year and has done amazing. She also still doing orchestra as well. Gage is in band again still playing the tuba, and also trying his hand at trombone. He was able to restart piano as well being taught by Lyndi from church. He seems to be really excelling at music. Makes me so proud. Now if we could just get him to focus on his school work as much. Angelina turned 16...am I that old?....and received her Young Womens medallion. Her Daddy and I are quite proud. And since she has earned that, she is now driving as well. Aack! Help! 
Halloween was so much fun. I dressed up at work, and the kids all enjoyed the church Trunk or Treat. Charity even made her own costume this year. She did an amazing job. It turned out so well. Chip off the old block. LOL
Then came the chaos of Christmas. It started with Gage's holiday band performance, and his tuba Christmas performance. Then there was Charity's orchestra concert. Followed by Angelina's youth Christmas party, and then Charity's choir concert. Throw in my work Christmas party, James' work Christmas party, Cookies and Cocoa with Santa at his dealership, the family Christmas get together and you have the makings of a chaotic December.
Thankfully, we also get to have a visit with Keith and Teresa who came for the Christmas holiday. Christmas was so great. The kids loved all of their gifts of course, but I tihnk they enjoyed the Secret Santa we did even more. We did ding dong ditch with cookies first for FHE one night, then we gathered together gifts for each of the children in the family. Charity contributed 2 American Girl dolls from her collection to give to the oldest 2 girls, and a Build a Bear for one of the younger girls. There were Spy guns and cars for the boys, and Barbies and bears for the younger girls. We even included in gofts for the adults too. The kids were so happy to leave it on their doorstep and ring and run. The looks on their faces were amazing. It made me so happy to see them getting such joy from doing something for others. 
Now the New Year approaches and we are looking forward to a new start. The kdis will go back to school, hopefully with a new focus on their studies, and we will get back in to the routine of life. As crazy as it sounds, I am looking forward to the routine. LOL We hope you have had a wonderful holiday season, a Merry
